What is the difference between Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin lymphoma?
Although they are both forms of lymphoma, there is a significant difference between these two cancers which means that the treatment will also be different.
A particular abnormal cell known as the Reed-Sternberg cell is found in Hodgkin's disease. This cell is not usually found in other lymphomas so these are called non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
