LSI moves to a new phase
Dear Friend,
Over the last number of years, attendances at our meetings in Dublin and around the country have been very poor. A lot of effort and money goes into organizing these meetings, and those of us who have been in the group for very many years have talked at length about what can be done. We have reluctantly come to the conclusion that people no longer need this type of support group. We have, with much sadness, and after discussion at our AGM, have to decided that we wind down LSI.

What is Lymphoma?
Lymphoma is a cancer of the lymphatic system.
Lymphomas are divided into two groups–Hodgkin lymphoma and non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
Lymphoma cells generally grow in lymph nodes (glands) and make them enlarge. Hodgkin’s lymphoma often begins in the lymph nodes in the neck, armpit or chest. Sometimes the cancer may spread to other lymph nodes nearby or cells may enter the blood stream and be carried to other organs.

LSI launches a new patient video - HOPE.
Hope is a personal journey through Hodgkin and Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma told in their own words by Vickie, Ambrose and Shelly.
The video is 35 minutes long and tells their personal experiences of diagnosis, treatement and recovery.
